DELTA PREVENTION LEADERSHIP

Angela Da Re, CCPS, ICPS CEO

Angela Da Re brings over 25 years of experience in Substance Abuse Prevention. As a Certified Prevention Specialist, she oversees all prevention programs and strategies, encompassing all prevention domains. Angela has extensive expertise in community and collaborative prevention strategies, making her a recognized leader in the field.

She has been instrumental in implementing the Strengthening Families Program for over 10 years, including integrating a faith-based component. As a Master Trainer for SFP for more than 5 years, Angela has trained countless facilitators in the curriculum, ensuring widespread and effective implementation.

In addition to her work with SFP, Angela has significant experience in coalition building. She has trained coalitions nationwide through her work with the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) and other organizations. Her training focuses on community assessment, strategic planning, evaluation, and sustainability. Angela’s dedication to creating and supporting local coalitions has helped many communities address substance use and related issues through effective, data-driven strategies.

Angela’s extensive experience includes:

  • Overseeing comprehensive prevention programs and strategies.

  • Facilitating the Strengthening Families Program, including faith-based adaptations.

  • Training facilitators in multiple evidence-based programs.

  • Providing technical assistance on strategic planning, program evaluation, and sustainability planning.

  • Engaging and empowering diverse community sectors to build effective coalitions.

Bruno Da Re Operations Manager/Master Trainer

Bruno Da Re has extensive experience in supporting prevention processes, with a strong focus on community and coalition building, project assessment, and relationship building. He began his journey in prevention by facilitating Strengthening Families classes as a volunteer 12 years ago. His compassion for struggling parents and families quickly made him a favorite among the families he served.

Bruno’s dedication to fostering strong, resilient communities led him to become a Master Trainer. In this role, he trains facilitators in large and small organizations, always with a keen eye for identifying and developing the skills and talents of those he teaches. His community and collaborative prevention strategies expertise has made him an invaluable asset to Delta Prevention.

Bruno's experience includes:

  • Facilitating Strengthening Families classes and becoming a Master Trainer.

  • Supporting community and coalition-building efforts focusing on project assessment and relationship building.

  • Training facilitators in evidence-based programs to enhance their effectiveness.

  • Evaluation and Sustainability: Implementing frameworks to measure the effectiveness of our activities and developing plans for long-term sustainability.

  • Training and Facilitation: Providing training to facilitators, community leaders, and stakeholders on various evidence-based programs and best practices in prevention.

  • Technical Assistance: Offering tailored support in areas such as strategic planning, program evaluation, data collection, and cultural adaptation of prevention programs.

  • Youth Engagement: Developing strategies to engage and empower youth in prevention efforts, integrating their perspectives into coalition activities.
